Join us for “Libertatum: Songs of Freedom”

The Halalisa Singers, under the direction of Mary Cunningham, present a joyous and powerful celebration of freedom showcasing Kyle Pederson's inspirational choral suite "A Vision Unfolding." Centering on themes of justice, community, and inclusivity with a soaring setting of Langston Hughes' iconic "I Dream a World," the chorus is accompanied by piano, trumpet, violin, and percussion spanning contemporary, gospel and blues styles.
